Grace Edwards Pettis, age 92, of Dublin passed away at home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Services for Mrs. Pettis will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00PM in Charity Baptist Church with burial to follow at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev.

Jim Fennell and Rev. Lee Edward Pettis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00PM at Charity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Howard Franklin Edwards and Mary Effie Edwards; husband, Linza E. “Lee” Pettis and great grandson Charles Lee “Scooter” Gaddis Jr. Survivors include her daughter; Becky Wood (Bill) of Dublin; sons, Rev. Lee E. Pettis (Pam) of Dublin, Jeff Pettis (Marianne) of Salisbury, MD, James A. “Jim” Pettis of Dexter; sister Mary Helen Schwartz of Savannah; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive, as well as devoted K-9 companion Lucy. Mrs. Pettis’ grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
