Grace Lavender Medley December 21, 1924 – January 06, 2019 Local Florists Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Grace Medley Gaffney, SC – – Grace Lavender Medley, 94, formerly of Pacolet Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Magnolias of Gaffney. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Clyde Lee Medley and the daughter of the late Jona Lavender and Edna Blanton Lavender. She retired from Medley’s Concrete, enjoyed cooking, loved family gatherings and had a great love for her family.

Mrs. Medley was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Barry Gene Medley and wife, Peggy of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Richard Medley and wife, Teri and David Medley and wife, Jordan; and three great-grandchildren, Luke, Ellison and Cannon. Mrs. Medley was preceded in death by three brothers; and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Dr. Wofford Caughman officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Southside Baptist Church, 204 West O’Neal Street, Gaffney, SC, 29340 or Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1886, Gaffney, SC, 29342.
