OBITUARY Grady E. Hunter September 26, 1950 – December 12, 2018 Funeral service for Grady E. Hunter Sr. , 68, of Ohatchee will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Pastor Raymond Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Middleton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am until service time on Saturday.

Mr. Hunter passed away Wednesday morning at his home. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Pamla Hunter; sons Grady E. Hunter Jr. (Kandice) Jacob Hunter (Angela); grandchildren Aaron Scoggins, Harley Hunter, Gus Hunter, and J.D. Hunter; great-grandchild Reed Scoggins; sisters Shirley Key Hunter and Bonnie Walker; several nieces and nephews; and his jack russel/ bulldog mix “Toot”. He is preceded in death by his parents Grady Hunter and Edna Moore Hunter.

Pallbearers will be Joe Reneman, Jerry King, Willie Rhodes, Sam Pressley, Houston Jackson, and Doyle O’Dell. Joe Little will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Mr. Hunter was a native of Anniston and a veteran of the United States Army.

He worked for Alagasco for 39 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on his ’42 Ford Truck. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
