Grayce Jackson Pescion passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018, after an extended illness. She was born December 10, 1922, the daughter of Ottis Jackson and Elizabeth Costello Jackson. She was a 1940 graduate of Chester High School and lived her entire life in Chester.

Her secretarial career spanned many decades including, Secretary for the President of Crucible Steel Company. She then continued her career at Kent State University and at Hancock Savings Bank. Known for her love of golf, her golfing career spanned over 70 years, including two holes in one.

She was a member of Deer Trails Country Club and served as Church Secretary for Sacred Heart Church in Chester for over 25 years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Pescion, her brothers, Robert Jackson and Ottis Jackson and a great-niece, Alexis Yankush. She is survived by her sister Virginia Conklin, her niece Karen Conklin (Gary Offerdahl) Kathy Montgomery (Bill Montgomery) and a nephew William Kim Conklin (Terri Levine) and many nieces and nephews.

At her request, a celebration of her life will take place later. The Arner Funeral Chapel assisted with handling these arrangements.
