Obituary for Greg Dennis Eickhoff Print Greg Eickhoff, 67, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019. A memorial visitation will be held from 1-3pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. Greg was born on July 25, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MI to Lonnie and Beverly (Huber) Eickhoff.
After high school, Greg came to Missouri where he worked as a supervisor in manufacturing for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, trips to Colorado, being out in the yard, and family game nights. He loved telling stories, watching NASCAR, and ice cold beer.
Greg will be remembered as a fun-loving guy and everyone’s best friend. His survivors include his wife Paula Eickhoff of the home; children Kyle Eickhoff of Destin, FL, Alyssa Eickhoff of Kansas City, MO, Matthew Eickhoff of Independence, MO, Nicole McBride and husband Ryan of Kansas City, MO, Jessica Finkle and husband Jerry of Independence, MO; grandchildren Isaiah Uta, Kiah Eickhoff, Kentrell Shields, Solei Shields, Logan McBride and Finn McBride; brother Marty Eickhoff; sisters Debbie Tangblade and husband Mark, Tonia Barnes, and Tara Metcalf; plus many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rita Eickhoff, and grandson Noah Eickhoff.
