Gregory’s Obituary Greg Cain, age 44, of Etowah, departed this life on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Etowah. Born on July 14, 1974, he was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a 1993 graduate of McMinn Central High School. He was employed at M&M Mars in Cleveland and Bookout’s Tire and Lube in Etowah.

Greg attended Wesleyanna United Methodist Church in his early years and enjoyed working on cars, helping others and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Greg is preceded in death by his father Ronnie Cain; brother, Tim Cain; maternal grandparents, R.L. and Emma Sue Haney; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Mary Sue Cain; and an aunt, Glenda Wallace. Survivors include his loving wife, Patty Duncan Cain of Etowah; children, Courtney Cain of Tellico Plains, Colton Brown of Polk County; Jessica Bohannon of Etowah; and T.J. Bohannon of Niota; grandchildren, Anna Lankford, Hunter Lankford, and Macy Dawson; mother Gail Haney Cain; brother, Jeff Cain pf Cleveland; sister at heart Cindy Buckner of Athens; best friends, Mikey Buckner and Jamie Keaton; and several extended family and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Gregory Allen Cain will be held at 7p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Pastor Floyd Duncan and Pastor Mickey Payne officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 5-7p.
