Dotsie Lemons, age 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at the family residence. Mrs. Lemons was the daughter of the late Annie West Russell and John David Russell. Her husband, Edgar Lemons, her son, James Lemons, her granddaughters, Britney Lemons and Samantha Adams, her grandsons, Stacey Duncan and William Carter Jr., her sons in law, Richard Adams and Daryl Dial and her 5 siblings also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lemons was a homemaker and along with her husband she also worked on the farm. She loved working in her flower garden and she was a member of The Church of God Southside. Survivors include her daughters, Judy Adams, Janet Dial, Jackie Duncan, Doris Harris and Sarah Carter all of Cleveland, her sons, Danny Lemons and his wife Amy of Athens, Tennessee and Jimmy Lemons and his wife Vickey of Cleveland, her 15 grandchildren, her 24 great grandchildren, her sister, Frankie James of Cleveland, her brothers, Matthew Russell of Ocoee, James “Jay” Russell and his wife Margaret of Calhoun, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 A. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Clint Pulliam officiating. Interment will follow in the New Friendship Church Cemetery with Carl Warfield Jr., Vincent Lemons, Joshua Duncan, Brandon Richmond, Jeremy Chambers and Tanner Nations serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Monday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
