Gregory E Schilling (Greg) died June 9, 2018, at home in Woodland Park, CO. Greg was born April 6, 1930, in Irvington NJ. Greg is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret P Schilling (Peggy), and his children: Margy and her husband Edwin Carine of Clifton NJ, Greg Jr. of Portland ME, Eileen and her husband Charles Proutt of Charlotte VT, Joe Firedean and his wife Lindsey Brown of Mt Vernon NY, and USMC Major Andrew and his wife Janelle of San Diego CA; as well as eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and his sisters Agnes Hebler of Toms River NJ, Mary Mumford of Colchester CT, Rosann Malakates of Lake Worth FL, and brother August of Red Bank NJ.

He was predeceased by his daughter Catherine, his sister Eileen Bassler, and his parents Agnes and August. Friends are invited to share memories and offer condolences to Peggy at the home he loved on Wednesday June 13, 12 – 4pm, or Thursday June 14, 4 – 7pm. Greg’s funeral will most likely be soon after July 4th, but has not yet been scheduled.
