Gregory H. Reff, 64, of Westernville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 24, 2018. He was born on November 8, 1953 in Rome; a son of the late Howard and Mary Weller Reff. He was raised and educated locally.

Greg was a talented painter. He was a member of the local painters union and was employed by several area contractors. He was a member of the Westernville American Legion Post 1846.

Greg is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Rich Townsend of Ava and Amy and Sullivan Derrick of Lee Center; a son, Clayton Reff and Nicole Stevens of Westernville; nine cherished grandchildren, Marlo, Shane, Ethan, Emma, Landen, Brayden, Jonathan, Ronan, and Maeve; four sisters, Jean Ann Riley, Donna and Ernie Scarnati, Patricia and David Teuscher, and Jennifer and Tom Belvick; best friend, Mike Bourgeois; mother of his children, Diane Gualtieri; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; three feline friends; and his pup “Paco”. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Kelly Smith. A celebration of life and gathering will be held on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00P.M. at the Westernville American Legion.
