Grover H. Fry age 72 of Big Prairie, Ohio died Thursday morning, June, 28, 2018 at his home following an extended illness with cancer. Memorial services will be 8 P.M. Saturday July 7, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with military rites being conducted by the Killbuck VFW and the Millersburg American Legion. Burial will be at a later date.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday July 7, at the funeral home. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Joyce Fry, 7848 State Route 514,BIg Prairie Ohio 44611. He was born July 24, 1945 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Rollin and Dorothy (Fortune) Fry.

On December 26, 1971 he married Joyce Hiller and she survives. Grover worked 30 years for Frito Lay in Wooster, Ohio and had several miscellaneous jobs until his retirement in 2008. Grover was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army.

Surviving in addition to his wife Joyce is a son, James R. Fry of Shelby, Ohio; a grandson, Tucker; a sister, Beverly Smith of Millersburg, Ohio; and brothers, Robert (Patti) Fry of Wooster, Ohio, Chet (Cheryl) Fry of Creston, Ohio, Steve Fry of Killbuck, Ohio and Raymond Fry of Clark, Ohio and several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, step mother, Virginia Croskey; and borther, Larry Fry.
