Bryan Edward Doty, age 34, of Shreve, Ohio passed away at his home unexpectedly, Saturday morning, October 20, 2018. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Reverend Joanna Lance officiating. alexanderfhinc.com. Bryan was born September 18, 1984 in Wooster, Ohio. He was the beloved son of Darryl Doty and Maureen (Weeks) Richardson.

He was a graduate of Westland High School and received a Bachelors degree from The Ohio State University. Bryan worked for Dan Wakefield State Farm Insurance in Wooster. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and fixing cars.

Bryan was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his son, Brayden Swartz of Columbus; his father, Darryl (Linda) Doty of Shreve; his mother, Maureen Richardson of Columbus; a sister, April (Dustin) Stout; a brother, Eric (Debra) Ames; and one nephew, Nathan Ames.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Scott Richardson.
