Kahlan Faye Brown, age 6 weeks, of 29 Palms, California passed away through the night at her home on September 4th, 2018. Private family funeral services will take place at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with family friend, Jr. Troyer officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Semper Fi Fund, P.O. Box 55193 Camp Pendleton, California 92055. Kahlan was born July 18, 2018 in the Naval Hospital at 29 Palms, California. She was the daughter of Tyler Scott and Maryah Brikell Dawn (Marks) Brown.

She was greatly loved and will be forever missed. Surviving in addition to her parents is her brother, Rowen Marks; paternal grandparents, Scott and Wendy Brown of Millersburg, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by paternal great-grandpa, Gail Wallace and maternal great-grandma, Lucy Marks.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the Semper Fi Fund and also to the USMC, unit V 3/4 and their families for all of the love and support that has been given to them in their time of need.
