Virginia G. Bowles age 80 of Millersburg, Ohio died Saturday morning, June 30, 2018 at Majora Lane Nursing Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Memorial services will be 5 P.M. Tuesday at the Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Oak Hill, Ohio with minister David Bowles officiating. Burial will be at C.M. Lewis Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. She was born September 12, 1937 in Wayland, Kentucky and was the daughter of John D. and Nellie (Hayes) Morris. On April 2, 1955 she married George “Bill” Bowles and he preceded her in death March 16, 2010.

Virginia was a member of the Dundee Church of God. Surviving are 4 children; Robert (Brenda) Bowles of Millersburg, Ohio, Willie (Carla) Bowles of Covington, Virginia, David Bowles of Millersburg, Ohio and Cheryll (Jeff) Shireman of Guttenberg, Iowa; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Phillip Bowles; a brother, Andrew Morris; and a sister, Gwenda Swann.
