David E. Farver, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice, Wooster, Ohio. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with pastor Matt Rowe officiating. Burial will take place at Hopewell Cemetery.

David was born February 19, 1942 in Holmes County and was the son of Homer and Vera (Oswald) Farver. On March 15, 1964 he married Opal Jean Parks, and she survives. David hauled milk for 35 years, after he retired he hauled neighbors and friends and delivered flowers.

Some activities he enjoyed was gun collecting, camping, flea markets and swap meets, and most importantly spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Surviving in addition to his wife of 54 years are for children, Cheryl (Gary) Marthey, Donna (Donald) Gallion, Alan Farver and Robert (Kerry Steinebrey) Farver; two grandchildren, Cory and Stephanie Farver; one sister, Janet Sampsel; two nieces, Cherie (Butch) Miller and Beverly (Tom) Woods; and one nephew, Jesse (Jennifer) Sampsel.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
