Grover Kenneth Roberson passed away on Sunday March 3, 2019 after suffering a fall. He was born in Cedartown, GA on March 7, 1932 and graduated from Cedartown High in 1950. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Howard Roberson, who was his high school sweetheart.

They were married for 68 years and have three children, Cindy Stanley (Hugh), Kristy Ann Roberson, and Amy Russell (Mike). Ken was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. He served his country during the Korean conflict 1951 through 1955 and 4 years in the Naval Reserves.

Ken was honorably discharged with the rank of Teleman 2nd Class Petty Officer and moved to Marietta in 1955. A graduate of Southern Tech, Ken worked for the FAA as an electronic engineer and retired after 44 years of service. A member of Mt.

Paran North Church of God he served as an usher for 16 years from 1992 until 2008, retiring because of health issues. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover Samuel and Sallie Beatrice Roberson, brother Carl Samuel Roberson and sisters Frances Vinson, Corrie Roberson, and Mary Blanks. Ken was an avid gardener.

He loved to read (especially his Bible), loved the outdoors, but most of all Ken loved his God, family and country. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
