Hannah (Courtney) O’Connor of Folsom, Ca. , ( previously of West Hartford, CT), died at the age of 100 years, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Born in Ballinacourty, Annascaul, County Kerry, Ireland, on July 26, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Nora (Austin) Courtney.

She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. and Ethel (Johnson ) O’Connor, of West Hartford, her daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Todd Higgins of Folsom, Ca. , her… Read More » grand-daughter, Alison O’Connor of Boston, several nieces and nephews in Ireland and the United States, extended family and dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel , her son James, her brothers ,Thomas and Daniel Courtney, and her sisters, Bridget (Courtney )Kennedy and Sister Catherine Courtney of the Columban Sisters.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Divine Savior Catholic Church, 9079 Greenback Lane, Orangevale, Ca. on November the 3rd at 10 am. Memorial gifts may be made in Hannah’s name to the Missionary Sisters of St. Columban, Magheramore, County Wicklow, Ireland .
