Obituary for Harley Ben Jones Sr. Harley Ben Jones, Sr. 87 of Elkview , WV, went home to be with the Lord November 15, 2018. He was born July 3rd, 1931 to the late Stark and Dicie Jones of Green Creek in Roane County. Harley served in the US Army and later retired as an operator for Peabody Energy.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Groves Jones and his brother Glenn Jones and sister Maizie West. He is survived by his children Kim Salisbury, Harley Ben Jones Jr., Mark Jones and John Jones, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and sister Betty Jones Phillips. A private family service will be held at a later date.
