Springfield- Harold “Hal” Alfred Maynard, 60, of Oakdale Street passed away Wednesday at Highview of Northampton. He was born in Pittsfield on September 7th, 1957. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Northeast Construction.

He was a member of the Local #98 of Operating Engineers. Hal was an avid race car enthusiast. He was the loving son of Cherolyn (Bourdo) Najimy and the late David A. Maynard, beloved brother of David Maynard, Sally Jones, Maureen Maynard, Robert Maynard, Lynnette Najimy, Darlene Maynard, Rena Rose, Deborah Maynard, Laurie Maynard, Charlie Najimy, Michael Maynard, and the late Randall Maynard.

He also leaves many nieces and nephews. There will be calling hours Monday from 4-6 PM at the WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 Boston Road, Wilbraham, followed at 6 PM by a Funeral Home Service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
