Donald Loring Manning, 81, died peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at home. Born July 12, 1936 in Wilbraham to the late Emerson and Mildred (Wright) Manning, he served proudly in the US Marine Corps. He worked for State Line Potato Chips in Wilbraham for 30 years.

A former Mason, he was also a 55 year member of the American Legion 286. An avid golfer, Donald enjoyed Thursday night cards with the guys and was a loyal NY Yankees fan. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Lynn (Hamburger) Manning, children; Donna Manning of South Hadley, Michael Manning of Chapin, SC and Neil Manning of North Andover, MA, step sons; Perry Bechthold of Palmer and Curtis Bechthold of Belchertown.

Sisters Louise Stover of Hartley, DE and Virginia Troup of Indianapolis, IN and eight cherished grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister Janet Economidy. Donald’s Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Friday, June 1st at 10:30 AM in Woodland Dell Cemetery.
