Lifelong East Longmeadow resident Timothy K. Leahy, 56, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born in Springfield, he was son of the late Fire Chief Edward M. and Barbara A. (Bisienere) Leahy. Tim worked construction for area firms for many years and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church in East Longmeadow.

An avid reader of history books, he loved baseball and the Boston Red Sox. Tim is survived by four brothers; Terrence (Margaret), William (Susan), Thomas (Ellen) and Edward (April) Leahy and three sisters; Deborah Caronna (Michael), Mary Kane (Joseph) and Ellen O’Brien (Francis) as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tim was also predeceased by his two brothers Michael and John.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22nd from 2-4 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd. , Wilbraham. Family and friends may meet for Tim’s Funeral Mass on Monday, April 23rd at 10 AM at St. Michael’s Church.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow, MA 01028.
