Obituary for Harold “Eddie” Edward Jackson Jr. Harold Edward “Eddie” Jackson, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold Edward and Della Emory Jackson; brother, Steven “Jake” Jackson and his wife of six years, Sue Pittman Jackson. Eddie is survived by his wife, Lee Jackson; children, Rhonda Jackson Knox, Regina Jackson Hamlin, Hank Jackson and Ben Jackson; eight grandchildren and two brothers, Bryan and Bill Jackson.

Eddie grew up on Tyger River Farms, where he worked as a boy until he was an adult. He served in the Army National Guard. He worked for Spartanburg County sheriff’s Office as a deputy.

His true love was trucking. Most of his adult life was spent riding the highways in an 18 wheeler. A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Holly Springs Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Tim Clark.

The family will receive friends Sunday in the sanctuary from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. The family will be at Eddie’s childhood home, where Bryan Jackson, his brother lives in the Holly Springs Community. Online condolences may be made at www.
