Harold C. “Hat” Lloyd, 71, of Elizabethtown, met his Savior on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Horst) Lloyd. Hat was the husband of Carol (Snyder) Lloyd with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Hat retired from Armstrong Ceiling Plant in Marietta. An avid Eagles fan, he has been a season ticket holder since 1972. He was a member of Community Bible Church in Marietta, PA.

He enjoyed talking, laughing, and being with his family. He was a friend to everyone he met. Surviving in addition to his wife, Carol, are two children, Andy Lloyd, husband of Jessica of Elizabethtown and Liz Lloyd Whitener, wife of Justin of Dallas, NC.

Also surviving are six grandchildren Jadyn, Nathan, Noah, and Lexa Lloyd, and Jack and Amelia Whitener. A funeral service honoring Hat’s life will be held at Community Bible Church, 331 Anderson Ferry Road, Marietta on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the church before the service from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Bible Church, 331 Anderson Ferry Road, Marietta, PA 17547 or Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
