Betty Lou Klinedinst, 92, of Mount Joy, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Masonic Villages, Elizabethtown. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Margaret (Petrey) Neff. Betty was the wife of the late James M. Klinedinst who passed away on February 6, 2008.

Betty worked for Wyeth Laboratories as Executive Secretary. She retired in 1989 from the former Northeast Development Construction Company as the President and CEO. Betty was a member of Glossbrenner United Methodist Church in Mount Joy where she sang in the choir, was on the PPR committee and was Treasurer of the Sunday School.

Betty is survived by three children, Sharon L, Byrnes of Hershey, Dennis P. Goodhart, husband of Gail (Sumpman) of Maytown and J. Michael Klinedinst, husband of Penny of Souix Falls, SD; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Joanne Leayman, wife of Donald of Lancaster, Joyce Miller, wife of Sherwood of Leola and Judy Hansalik, wife of George of Lititz; a brother, Richard Neff, husband of Martha of Leesburg, GA; and a sister in law, Violet Neff of GA. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Neff. A memorial service honoring Betty’s life will be held at Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, 713 Church Street, Mount Joy on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2 PM.

Family and friends will be received at the church following the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, 713 Church Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552 or Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
