Mr. Harold Morton Smith, age 81, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Michael Hix will officiate, with burial to follow in Rose Bank Cemetery in the Flat Creek Community.

The family will receive visitors 11 AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born November 11, 1937, to the late Farris and Mary Katherine Smith. He was the leather shop foreman at World Champion Horse Equipment.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Veda Diane McClenney and a grandson, PFC Daniel Bradley McClenney. Survivors include a son Clint Smith, and his wife Debra, of the Flat Creek Community; grandchildren, Melissa Katherine McClenney, Megan Elizabeth Smith, and her husband Ross Smith, and Nathan Alex Smith. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
