Harold R. Rodgers November 18, 1933 – September 20, 2018 Harold R. Rodgers, 84, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 1:15 pm in Franciscan Health – Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Chaplain Mark Grobner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Otis, Indiana.

Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until time service in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. He was born November 18, 1933 in Cave City, Arkansas. Surviving is his companion of over 40 years Lucy Firanek of Michigan City, Indiana; two daughters, Sharon and Charlene both of Missouri; two special-friends Charles Tackett and Kenny Russell; two honorary grandchildren, Jenny Copeland and Alex Copeland along with several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Rodgers.

Harold was painting contractor and also a die-hard White Sox and Bears fan. Contributions may be made to Northern Indiana American Red Cross, 220 W. Colfax Ave. , Suite 510, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
