Harold Ray Krueger, 88, of Owensboro, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his home. He was born in Evansville, IN on October 31, 1929 to the late Harlan & Hazel Krueger. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist and attended Word & Spirit Church.

Harold was a Navy Veteran and graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College with an accounting degree. He worked for Centronics, National Aluminum, and Parr trucking all in their accounting departments. Harold enjoyed gardening, woodworking, traveling and reading, especially spending time in the word of God, WWII, and history were his favorites.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Hiram, Charles, and Wayne. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Joanne Krueger; his daughter, Sylvia Krueger of Cleveland, TN; two sons, Steve (Judy) Krueger of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and Scott (Diane) Krueger of Owensboro; five granddaughters, Selena Krueger, Jamie White, Lesley Nunn, Casey Cook, and Kayla Krueger; 2 great grandsons and 7 great granddaughters. Services will be at 2:00 Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Owensboro. Visitation is from 10:00-2:00 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
