He, along with his sons and brother, built their own camper and could be found camping as far away as Canada. Harry also enjoyed boating, hunting and filming his own home movies. He was particularly proud of being the Scout Master of Summit Chapel’s Troop 205.

Harry taught his sons self-confidence, problem solving, hands-on skills, and most importantly common sense. These teachings proved later to be very beneficial in their careers. Harry truly enjoyed life and talking to people.

He had a great sense of humor, lived life simply and had a kind spirit. Most importantly, Harry was a proud and active member of the Summit Chapel United Methodist Church, serving God the best he knew how.
