Hazel Ann Styers, 68, of Concord, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, January 3, 2019. Ann was born January 12, 1950 in Concord to the late Melvin Leroy Simpson and Hazel Lucille Simpson. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by brother, Hugh “Chuck” Simpson.

She loved spending time with her great-granddaughters. She loved eating at Troutman’s Bar-B-Q, especially on Fridays. Survivors include beloved husband of 52 years, Gary “Mike” Styers; daughter, Connie Styers; son, Toby Styers; mother, Hazel L. Simpson; granddaughter, Kayla Hall; great-granddaughters, Emily and Alexis; sisters, Debbie Kendall, Brenda Broadway and Teresa Carter.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 1:45 pm, Monday, January 7, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
