Obituary for Hazel Irene Wilkinson Irene Wilkinson, 90, a longtime Falmouth resident passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Rushville. Irene was born in Shelby County, IN on April 11, 1928 to the late Jesse and Hazel (Riser) Tucker. She married Howard Wilkinson on December 15, 1946.

Howard preceded her in death, April 27, 2016. Irene went to Shelby County High School and was an over 50 year member of Raleigh Christian Church where she served as secretary many years. She was Past Worthy Matron of the former Falmouth, Raleigh and Lewisville OES.

Irene enjoyed gardening, knitting, working in her flower beds, doing yard work and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Wilkinson of Franklin, TN, sons, James Wilkinson of Rushville and Mark (Diane) Wilkinson of Fortville, IN, her grandchildren, Sarah (Doug) Andrews of Mays, Amelia (Paul) Marlatt of Rushville, Megan (Arnold) Fields of Laurel, David Monroe of Ashville, N.C., Arthur Wilkinson of Fortville, and Patrick Wilkinson of Lebanon, great grandchildren, Skyler Medd, Levi Marlatt, Alivia and Lance Fields. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents and husband, sisters, Fern, Mary, Louise, Lenora, and Thelma, brothers, Charles and Paul, a niece Claudia Meyer and several other nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the Raleigh Christian Church with Tony Augsburger presiding. Burial will follow services in the Raleigh Cemetery.

Friends are welcome to visit from 4-8 pm Friday evening, July 13 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. There will be an OES service at the mortuary Friday evening at 7:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the Raleigh Christian Church or the OES.
