Obituary for Georgia (Kincaid) Griffin Georgia (Kincaid) Griffin, 92, a long time Indianapolis area resident, passed away at her son’s home in Indianapolis on August 12, 2018. Georgia was born October 14, 1925 in Rush County to Ralph M. & Bessie (Clark) Kincaid. She was a 1944 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and obtained her Associate’s degree from Dwyer Business College.

Georgia worked as birth records clerk for Methodist Hospital 18 years. She also spent 22 years working for the American Red Cross in safety services and most recently worked 14 years as a phone operator at WalMart. She was a long time member of the Garfield Christian Church in Indianapolis, member of Greencastle OES #255 since 1946 and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary.

She is survived by her sons, William Reading of Indianapolis and Rick Reading of Fort Wayne, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Georgia was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula M. George and a brother, Charles E. Kincaid. Services will be held in the Garfield Christian Church, 1751 E. Walker Ave, Indianapolis 46203 at 10 AM Friday, August 17, 2018 with Pastor Fred Sigle presiding.

Graveside burial will be at 1PM Friday, August 17, 2018 in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery. Moster Mortuary, Rushville, entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Garfield Christian Church.
