Obituary for Maxine Mann Maxine Mann, 90, a lifelong Rush County resident, passed away October 15, 2018 in Rushville. She was born April 26, 1928 in Rush County to John W. Miers & Dolores (Land) Miers Davis. Maxine was a 1946 graduate of Rushville High School and she attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis.

Maxine married Glenie E. Mann on September 28, 1947 and he survives. Maxine was a longtime member of Center Christian Church where she was part of the Encouragers group. She was active as a 4-H Leader for 40+ years, a member of the Ammacidia Club and longtime member of the Always Welcome Home Ec Club where she was still very active.

In addition to her husband, Glenie E. Mann, of Lewisville, Maxine is survived by her daughters, Carol (Michael) Holzback and Barb (Joe) Jarman all of Rushville, her grandchildren, Shawn (Leslie) Kent, Brian (Amber) Kent, Jim (Angel) Keal, Lexis Jarman, Dawn Holzback, Joshua Holzback and Jonathan (Krystal) Holzback, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Maxine was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Beth Mann and a grandson, Shane Holzback. Services will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 22, 2018 in the Center Christian Church.

Friends may visit at the church on Sunday afternoon, October 21, from 3-7PM. Pastor’s Darryl Denney and John Wall will preside. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
