Obituary for Mable E. Potchen Mable E. Potchen, 89 of Rushville, passed away on November 9, 2018 in Rushville. She was born on April 30, 1929 in Bowling Green, KY to the late George Henry Ward and Flora (Silvesta) Thacker. Mable married Ronald Potchen and he survives.

She retired from Morristown Manor. Mable enjoyed writing poems and was an adequate cleaner. She truly loved spending time with her whole family, especially her grandchildren.

Mable is also survived by her sons, John Wayne (Francis) Harpring of Westport, IN, David Quinton (Anna) DeBoard of Connersville, IN, Rex Allen Harpring of Rushville, IN, Leonard (Rita) DeBoard of Alabama, Robert (Cindy) Ward of West Virginia, Rick (Carla) Kessler of Shelbyville, Bill Kessler of Shelbyville; daughters, Wanda Faye (Orville)Bloom of Connersville, IN, Kathy Keen of Connersville, IN, Montina (Brad) Herbert of Rushville, IN. She will be missed by 41 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and 45 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mable is preceded in death by her sons, Allen Wayne Ward and Roger Clayton DeBoard, Charles Bud DeBoard; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11 AM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Chip West presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family on Monday evening from 4-8 PM in the mortuary. Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
