Obituary for Harold E. Kinder Harold E. Kinder, 94 of Rushville, passed away on November 28, 2018 in Rushville. He was born on February 24, 1924 to the late Lloyd Peter and Margaret Ellen (Dickson) Kinder. Harold was a 1942 graduate of New Salem High School.

He married Mary Jane (Perry) Kinder of September 1, 1944 and she preceded him in death on February 2, 2011. He was a member of the New Salem United Methodist Church. Harold was a Past Master of the Andersonville Masonic Lodge F&AM for over 50 years.

He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, Andersonville OES, Farm Bureau Member, and the Rushville Elks Lodge #1307. Harold is survived by his loving daughter, Dr. Suellen Reed of Rushville; son, Lloyd V. “Digger” (Marsha) Kinder of Beecher City, IL; brother, James (Nancy) Kinder of Port Charlotte, FL; sisters, Doris Kinder Lucas of Marion, Stella Kinder McNaughton of Dayton, OH, Janet Kinder Schaefer of Leland, MI. He will also be missed by his 3 grandchildren, Bradley (Trish) Kinder, Tammy Hercamp, Jennifer (Michael) Kinder Castle; 5 great grandchildren, Justin McCrory, Cody and Danyel Kinder Bryant, Alexander and Brooklyn Castle; great-great granddaughter, Michaela McCrory; also his nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Harold is preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Kinder and Dale Kinder; infant brother, Everett Kinder; sisters-in-law, Mary Carolyn Clarkson Kinder and Charlotte Richardson Kinder; also his brothers-in-law, Glenn McNaughton and Glenn Schaefer. Services will be held on December 3, 2018 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastors Roy Ice and Rebecca Milne presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family at the mortuary from 11 AM until the time of service.
