Obituary for Mary C. Brown Mary Catherine Brown, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away November 30, 2018. Mary was born December 22, 1937 in Shelbyville to George Verl & Anna May (VanLue) Phares. She was a 1956 graduate of Shelbyville High School.

Mary married Ivan J. Brown on April 5, 1959 and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2010. She was a member of the Milroy Free Will Baptist Church and had recently attended Life Church 180 in Indianapolis. She is survived by her son, Andrew J. Brown of Indianapolis and her grandson, Jacob Brown of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Carl, George W. & Donald Phares. Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, December 7, 2018 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Brian Correll presiding. Friends may visit the mortuary from 11:30 AM until time of service that day.

Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Church 180 transportation fund @ 3477 S. Lynhurst Dr., Indianapolis, IN. 46241.
