Obituary for Wilma Mae McMillin Wilma Mae McMillin, a life-long Rush County resident, passed away October 15, 2018 in Rushville. She was born May 4, 1920, to Ray & Dottie Mae (Frye) White. Wilma graduated from Raleigh High School in 1938 and took a Post-Grad course in 1939.

She worked at a furniture factory before she married William Robert (Bob) McMillin on March 1, 1947. He preceded her in death February 26, 2012. Wilma was a member of Plum Creek Christian Church where she was a former Sunday school secretary and Sunday school teacher.

She was a charter member of Rush County Heritage and a member of Martha Poe Eastern Star. She enjoyed walking, crafts, and reading. She worked at and helped operate McMillin Packing Co., Inc. and was active in the Indiana Meat Packers & Processors Association and American Meat Processors.

She loved her family and friends and enjoyed every minute she spent with them. Wilma is survived by one daughter, Janet (Hank) Godby, Shelbyville; two sons, Kenneth (Debra) McMillin, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and David (Jennifer) McMillin, Webb City, Missouri; 4 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, 1 great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Carol Ann McMillin, and two sisters.

Services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville where friends are welcome to visit from 4-8PM Friday evening, October 19. Burial will be in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Plum Creek Christian Church, Rushville Public Library, or Rush County Heritage.
