Hazel M. “Peg” (Bickley) Weber, 90, of Sandusky. passed away early Friday evening, September 14, 2018, at the Providence Care Center, Sandusky. Born on March 20, 1928, in Venice, OH the daughter of Harry George and Hazel Esther (Ryf) Bickley.

She was a 1946 graduate of Margaretta High School. Peg had worked for many years at Sandusky Foundry and Machine, before retiring in 1990. She was a “BIG TIME” Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends over the years.

Peg was also a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Jeff) Ostheimer of Sandusky; a son, Daniel Weber of Holland, MI, seven grandchildren, Aimee, Matthew, Daniel, Elizabeth, Tyler, Jessica and Nathan; and eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Fresch of Sandusky; nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, George Owens of Sunbury, OH.

Peg was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Russell L. “Russ” Weber, who passed away on December 13, 2002; 3 sisters, Mary Alice Bickley, Jane Stone and Faye Owens; and 3 brothers, Harry, Hadley and Dennis Bickley. At her request, all services will be private. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to one’s favorite charity. Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Your memories and words of comfort may be shared with Peg’s family at davidfkoch.com.
