Hector’s Obituary Hector passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 5th in his home in Providence RI. He was 66 years of age. Born and raised in Yauco, Puerto Rico he was one of ten children of the late Juan Irizarry and Cruz Seda.

Juan settled in Chelsea and resided there for many years before relocating to Providence six years ago. Juan worked for Trio’s Pasta in Chelsea for over twenty years. He retired when the factory closed several years ago.

In his lifetime, Juan enjoyed fishing and salsa music. He was the devoted father of Iris Beatriz Irizarry of Revere, Hector Luis Irizarry of Fall River, Tawany Irizarry of Chelsea, Shara Jasmin Irizarry of Providence RI, Sheila Taimara Irizarry of Everett and Edelsein Irizarry of Somerville. Dear brother of Juan Irizarry and Bermain Irizarry both of NY, Efrain Irizarry, Angel Irizarry and Wilfreddy Irizarry, all of Puerto Rico, Isabel Irizarry and Elba Irizarry, both in MA and the late Benjamin Irizarry and Luznery Irizarry.

He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting Hours will be at Frank A. Welsh & Sons Funeral Home, 718 Broadway CHELSEA on Wednesday March 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend. Funeral will be held from the Welsh Funeral Home on Thursday March 15 at 1P.M. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
