She was born February 5, 1943 in Sand Lake the daughter of Howard and Gail ( Lewis ) Bowers. During her working years she worked at the Meijer’s warehouse for many years.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church in Cadillac where she was very active. She enjoyed gardening, flowers as well as dogs and cats. Surviving are Two brothers Howard ( Bud ) Darlene Bowers of Luther Ronald ( Jan ) Bowers of Howard City Three sisters Helene ( Jerry ) Bowers of Howard City Nina( William ) Selleck of Cooks Bonnie ( Sam ) Staude of VA And many nieces and nephews .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Wayne and a brother Charles Kent. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 1 PM at the Heckman Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM.
