She was born February 9, 1952 in Grand rapids the daughter of Carl and Jean ( Maile ) Blackall. Carla worked hard at raising their children as well as baby sitting kids from all over the neighborhood.

She took care of her mother for twenty five years. She enjoyed her crafts, scrap booking, gardening but being her family was the most important of all. In 1979 she married Dean who survives, also surviving are her children Matt ( Amanda ) Busse of Sandwich Todd ( Jamie ) Busse of Pierson One granddaughter Milly and a grandson Clayton She was preceded in death by her Parents and a sister Cherie Memorial services will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the East Nelson United Methodist with Pastor Larry Young officiating .

The family will greet friends from 10 AM until time of services. Memorials to the American Heart Assoc. The family has entrusted services to the Heckman Funeral Home of Howard City.
