Born November 11, 1966, died unexpectedly, February 11, 2019. He was born to Sandy and Joe Winger [Montague], who survive.

He grew up in Walled Lake, MI; Colombia, South America; then graduated from Decatur, MI High School. Kevin had a business degree from Western Michigan University and an engineering specialist degree from Ferris State. Besides parents, he is survived by son Trent Mitchell Winger, daughter Lauren Elizabeth Winger, former spouse Maggie Nederhoed-Winger, his sister Heather [Mike] Brew of Sturgis, his brother Matthew [Lisa] Winger of Fruitport, five nieces and nephews, plus numerous aunts and uncles.

Kevin was co-owner of Great Lakes Balancing of Grand Rapids. He was valued at family gatherings for his sense of humor, Pictionary skills and competitive liveliness at games, both indoors and outdoors. He excelled as a father and shone as a friend.

He will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held at Heckman Funeral Home, Howard City, Michigan from 6-8 P.M. Friday February 15. , Services will be held Saturday morning February 16 starting at 11A.M. at Grace Community Church 9920 Reed Rd.
