Obituary for Helen Hix Helen Elizabeth Wolfe Hix, 84, widow of William Cary Hix, passed away November 14, 2018. A native of Greer, daughter of the late James Thomas Wolfe, Sr. and Altie Lydian Weaver Wolfe, she was a retired employee of Macke Food Service and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are one son, Marty Thomas Hix (Shannon) of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Katrina Hix Lybrand (Philip) of Greer; two brothers, Jimmy Wolfe and David Wolfe both of Greer; two sisters, Brenda Mason of Travelers Rest and Linda Watkins of Greer; grandchildren, Jeremy Hix, Brandon Lybrand, Jordan Lybrand and Addison Hix; and great-grandchildren, Wilson Lybrand, Trey Hix and Hannah Hix.

Mrs. Hix was predeceased by one son, William Michael Hix, four brothers, James Thomas Wolfe, Jr., Bobby Wolfe, Ralph Wolfe and Kenneth Wolfe, one sister, Willie Mae Garland, two grandsons, Matthew Hix and Justin Hix and one great-grandson, Cory Metcalf. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Chaplain Gerald Jarrett. The family is at their respective homes.
