Obituary for Myrtice S. Starnes Myrtice Dixon Streetman Starnes, 98, of Greer, widow of Basco E. Starnes, died November 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Banks County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Reuben H. and Ellie Hix Dixon. Myrtice was a devoted Christian and her love for God was known by everyone who knew her.

A life well lived. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Greer, SC. Her first husband was the late Doyle F. Streetman.

Myrtice is survived by three daughters, Jean S. Pitts, Mary S. Belue and Delores S. Campbell all of Greer, SC; three grandchildren, Lisa B. Cox (Neill) of Clover, Sabrina P. Angert (Sean) of Fort Mill and Mary Beth B. Liner (David) of Greer and six great-grandchildren, Alexander Wilson of Greer, Christine Angert of Atlanta, Katherine Angert of Clemson, Annie Liner, Meredith Liner and Miles Liner all of Greer. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 11, 2018 between 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Eddie Leopard and Dr. Tom Burns. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Greer, SC. The family is at the home of the daughter, Delores S. Campbell.
