Obituary for Joe Thomas Brandenburg Joe Thomas Brandenburg, 88, widower of Barbara Coats Brandenburg, passed away on November 11, 2018, Veterans Day. A native of Windsor, SC son of the late Josiah Thomas and Evelyn Faust Brandenburg, he was a retired employee of C. R. S. Sirrine Inc., a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and a member of Greer First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three sons, Mark Brandenburg (Leigh) of Charleston, Paul Brandenburg (Stephanie) of Greenville and Van Brandenburg (Kelley) of Atlanta, Ga; one sister, Carol Morgan of Greenville and seven grandchildren, John and Grace, Will and Kate, Elizabeth, Caroline and Matthew.

A memorial service will be held noon Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Greer First Presbyterian Church conducted by Dr. Steve Vance. Visitation will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to The Citadel Foundation, 171 Moultrie Street, Charleston, SC 29409.
