Helen Jaunita Settlemire Tucker March 23, 1934 – December 23, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook Mrs. Helen Jaunita Settlemire Tucker departed this life Sunday, December 23, 2018, at the age of 84 years and 9 months at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. She was born Friday, March 23, 1934 in Athens, Alabama to the late Edward and Alberta Campbell Adams. She had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann, was a housewife and member of the Christian Worship Center in Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Settlemire and her second husband, Stanley Lee Tucker, one daughter, Dorene Settlemire; two sons, Jackie Settlemire & Tommy Settlemire, Sr.; four sisters; five brothers and her parents, Edward and Alberta Campbell Adams. She is survived by four daughters, Jaunita Butler of Drasco, AR, Rosie Hillis of Trumann, Sandra Woods of Leighton, AL and Amanda (Annette) Ward of Trumann; three sons, Sammy E. Settlemire and Ricky Maverick Settlemire both of Trumann and Dennis (Pete) Settlemire of Jacksonville, N.C.; one sister, Letha Mae Wilson of Bakersfield, Calif. ; one brother, Lewis (Buck) Adams of Bakersfield, Calif.

; 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Jordan officiating.

Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, AR. Pallbearers will be Billy Reed, Damien Farris, Shannon Hisaw, Michael Dobbins, Sammy Settlemire, Jr., Elvis Settlemire and Kevin Rieathbaum. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Settlemire and James Hillis.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online guest book can be signed at www.
