Juanita Jonopah Aston April 01, 1921 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Mrs. Juanita Jonopah Aston, 97, of Trumann, departed this life on Friday, January 25 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. She was born in Augusta, Arkansas and lived in Trumann since 1980 and was formerly of Los Angeles CA. Mrs. Aston was retired from Dolly Madison Bakery for over 27 years and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Aston, one grandson, Ronald Tress, 3 brothers and her parents, W. H. and Madie Kathleen Morgan Highland. She is survived by three daughters, Carol Armstrong of Trumann, Barbara (Roy) Tress of Paragould and Clara Alpeza of Los Angles, CA; one son, Donald (Joe) Pam Aston of Sylmar, CA. ; 8 grandchildren, Brian Alpeza, Craig Alpeza, Randy Aston, Kelly Aston, Brenda Baumgarner, Debbie Basham, Sandra Kalkman, and April Tress.

16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 29 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, AR. A celebration of her life will follow at 11:00 AM.

in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Loggins officiation. Burial will be private at Farm Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg, Ark.
