Helen L. Perry, age 76, passed away on Thursday January 31, 2019 at her son’s home in Rahway, while comforted with the love of her family. Born in Newark, where she would later meet her husband, Peter, whom she was married to for 40 years until his passing in 2008. Helen and Peter had one child, David, who they were devoted parents to.

Their relationship with each other and their child was the epitome of love. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 10 am, at the Krowicki GornyMemorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave. , Clark.

Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 4-8 pm. Helen enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping, the occasional trip to the casino, as well as taking cruises with her sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Charles.

Helen was a mom to so many and always there with an ear to listen and words tocomfort. Helen worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years, most recently with Beckerman & Co where she retired in 2012 providing mentorship, guidance and most importantly friendship to those she crossed paths with. Helen is survived by her son, David B. Perry; her sister, Lorraine Shekon; and her nephew, Ben Shekon.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter J. Perry, her mother Helen Lacheta (nee Stankowitz), and brother-in-law Charles A. Shekon.
