Obituary for Helen Marie Sentipal Helen Marie (Holland) Sentipal Center Township Helen Marie (Holland) Sentipal died peacefully on November 21, 2018, at Arden Courts of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, at the age of 83, after a prolonged journey with dementia. Born November 23, 1934, in Pittsburgh to the late John and Helen Holland, she is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bob Sentipal of Center Township. Helen was a graduate of the South Side Hospital School of Nursing and remained a proud nurse.

She held several nursing positions throughout her career including Aliquippa Hospital, where she also served as a home health nurse before retiring. She was an active member of St. Francis Cabrini Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Helen founded the parish’s Care & Concern Committee and volunteered at Vacation Bible School.

Helen was an active volunteer, serving as a troop leader with the Girl Scouts of America and at the Center for Hope in Ambridge. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sherry (John) Snyder of Frederick, Md. , Janet (Gary) Cooper of Saxonburg, and Joan (Ken) Walerius of Prior Lake, Minn.

; her brother, Jack (Nancy) Holland; and nephew, Scott (Janet) Holland. She will be remembered by her beloved grandchildren, Matthew Sentipal, Meghan (Jason) Cox, Tim Snyder, Greg Snyder, Milana Walerius, Andrew Walerius and Michael Walerius. Throughout her life, Helen served others and served the Lord.

She was a strong proponent of education and a world traveler. Her family is grateful to those who extended kindness to Helen, especially the staff of Arden Courts for providing her with comfort and care. Viewing will be held Friday, November 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME INC.
