OBITUARY Helen Marie Temple May 20, 1930 – July 12, 2018 Dunn, NC Ms. Marie Pope Temple, age 88 of Dunn, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Liberty Commons in Benson, NC. Ms. Temple was born in Harnett County on May 20, 1930 the daughter of the late Geneva Ivey Pope Williams and John Lewis Pope, Sr She is preceded in death by her husband, George William Temple; brothers, Billy Franklin Pope, John Lewis Pope, Jr., Gene Everett Pope; son, Jerry Allen Temple; Granddaughter, April Marie Temple; grandson, Robert Everton Wood, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Judy Black Temple and son-in-law, George William Moore, Sr

Ms. Temple was a textile worker/homemaker, loved her family and she enjoyed working in her yard. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 am at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerome Pope officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. She is survived by, Daughters: Phyllis Temple Wood Ceballos of Dunn, NC and Jean Temple Moore of Coats, NC; A Special Friend: Gerald Jackson of Mt. Olive, NC; Daughter-in-Law: Shirley Temple of Dunn, NC Grandchildren: Bobbie Moore Wood & (husband) Bill of Coats; George Williams Moore, Jr. and (wife) Kathryn of Clayton, NC; Kenny Temple and (wife) Jennifer of Benson, NC Billy Wood of Greenville, NC; Alexis Ceballos of Angier, NC; Michael Ceballos and (wife) Randi of Godwin, NC; 24 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews The family will receive friends Saturday Morning, July 14, 2018 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, NC.
