OBITUARY Rev. Bobby L. Collins May 2, 1939 – October 18, 2018 Reverend Bobby Lee Collins, age 79 of Dunn, NC passed away on Thursday Morning, October 18, 2018 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He was the husband of Joyce Stone ; the two shared 59 years of marriage.

Born on May 2, 1939 Bobby was the son of Reverend Roy Lee and Lois Johnson Collins of Red Springs. Bobby dedicated his life to serving God and serving others. He served 42 years as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

After retirement, he continued serving the Lord as an active member of Glad Tidings Assembly God Church in Dunn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Grant Collins and wife Shirley Smith Collins. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Collins of the home; a brother, Ernie Collins of Pembroke; a son, David Collins & (wife) Rebecca of Chesapeake, Va; a son, Reverend Danny Collins and wife Karen of Clayton, NC; a son, Anthony Collins and wife Renee of Nebo, NC.

and five grandchildren, Blake, Austin, Blair, Logan and Jordan. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church with Reverend Tim Rice and Reverend Charles Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday Afternoon from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Church, 2 hours prior to the service and at other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 711 Fairground Rd. in Dunn. A Service of Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home of Dunn, NC.
