Obituary for Helen M. Proctor Helen Mae (Walker) Proctor, 78, of Orleans, passed away at 3:43 PM on April 24, 2018, at her residence. She was born March 26, 1940 in Crawfordsville IN, the daughter of Clarence and Vera (Quinn) Walker. She married Herschel Gene Proctor, June 13, 1978, and he preceded her in death, February 23, 2018.

She retired from Orange County REMC after twenty-nine years and was a member of Orleans Tri-Kappa. Helen is survived by two daughters; Kim (Mike) McCracken of Orleans, LeAnn (Jeff) Trueblood of Salem, one son; Rick (Diana) Cowan of Orleans, two step-daughters; Beth Ann (Nate) Schnellenberger, Pam (Tom) Hughes; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; three brothers; Jerry (Eileen) Walker, Richard (Michaelene) Walker and Tom (Pat) Walker. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers Tony Walker and Newell Walker.

The funeral will be on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 12:00 PM at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Orleans. Friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
